Interim International Data Modelling Expert

Client

An international operator in energy logistics, managing terminals across 10 countries worldwide. The organization is currently undergoing a large-scale digital transformation program.

You will take full responsibility for analyzing and harmonizing procurement data, transforming unstructured datasets into a single, future-proof data model supported across the organization.

This is not a SAP implementation role,
not a Master Data Management (MDM) position, and not a data migration project. It is a data modelling assignment where independent working and stakeholder alignment are key.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assessing the current item and supplier master data across all 10 countries.
• Gathering both local and global requirements for each data object.
• Identifying inconsistencies, duplicates, and gaps within existing datasets.
• Designing a harmonized target data model and classification structure.
• Leading cross-functional workshops to define and drive adoption of the new model.
• Developing recommendations for data governance, including ownership, definitions, and lifecycle management.
• Delivering periodic progress reports and dashboards through Power BI.

You have proven experience independently leading a similar data modelling assignment; this is a strict requirement.

You possess strong analytical skills and are able to transform unstructured procurement data into a clear and scalable data model. It's also important that you can influence and engage engineering and maintenance teams across multiple countries, driving alignment and adoption of change.

Experience with procurement processes (P2P) is required. Knowledge of SAP is considered an advantage.
