As a Data Scientist, you will work within the Advanced Analytics team of the Research and Business Intelligence (OBI) department. You analyze available data, discover new insights and develop advanced analytical models. In addition, you will be involved in setting up generative AI solutions, deploying Large Language Models (LLMs) and realizing production-ready data science solutions. You will work Agile/Scrum together with colleagues from different disciplines and translate data science initiatives into concrete business value.
Tasksand responsibilities
- Analyzing available data and identifying new insights
- Developing machine learning models and predictive analytics
- Conducting exploratory research and reports
- Designing, developing, and deploying generative AI solutions
- Setting up and deploying agentic AI solutions
- Working with Large Language Models (LLMs), including local hosting
- Developing production-ready data science solutions
- Collaboration within multidisciplinary Scrum teams
- Translating customer questions into data solutions with demonstrable business value
- Initiating innovative applications in the field of data science and AI
- Sparring with colleagues within the Data Science department and the Advanced Analytics team
- Contributing to data-driven decision-making
- Completed higher professional education in the field of mathematics, statistics/econometrics, physics, artificial intelligence, computer science or similar
- At least 3 years of work experience in the past 5 years with machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, dimensionality reduction, ensemble methods, reinforcement learning and time series analysis models (including ARIMA)
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the last 3 years with generative AI
, local hosting of LLMs and agentic solutions - At least 3 years of work experience in Python
- Experience with libraries such as stats models, sklearn, optuna and mlflow
- At least 3 years of work experience with version control, package management and coding best practices
- Experience with Git, Anaconda, containerized working, unit tests, integration tests and Docker
- Fluent command of the Dutch language
- At least 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist on the Azure platform
- Experience with Azure Machine Learning and Azure Web Apps
- Experience with glass box algorithms and statistical models
- Experience with acquisition, customer needs analysis and project acquisition
- Experience with deploying software within Docker containers
- Experience with ML architecture issues and production pipelines
- Experience with LLM and agent architecture issues
- Experience in realizing proof-of-concepts to production environments
