Senior Test Engineer

Key Role

Senior Test Engineer responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and stability of our digital pension solutions, working closely with developers, analysts, product specialists, and customers to test new functionality, identify risks, and support reliable software releases.

You analyze requirements and acceptance criteria, design and execute test scenarios, challenge assumptions, contribute to test automation initiatives, CI/CD testing, and release decisions based on quality insights. You will shape testing practices and quality standards and assist in strengthening the testing community.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least 4 years of experience in software testing within an Agile environment
• Experience with functional testing, risk‑based testing, and test automation
• Familiarity with modern testing tools and frameworks
• Ability to understand complex processes, identify risks, and translate requirements into effective test scenarios
• Problem‑solving mindset, ownership, and proactive improvement of quality and testing processes
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient in Dutch and English (professional level in both)
• Enjoy collaboration with technical and business stakeholders and comfortable challenging assumptions constructively

Preferred:

• Experience in pension or financial services domain
• Experience improving testing standards or processes
• Coaching other testers

• Monthly gross salary between €4,300 and €6,300 based on 40 hours per week
• 8% holiday allowance of total gross salary
