Requirements What do you bring?

You work in a structured way, have an eye for detail and enjoy taking responsibility as part of a team. In addition, you have:

  • A diploma in IT, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English

  • A valid VCA certificate
  • A valid driving licence (B)
  • Willingness to travel between the data centre locations in Rotterdam and Roosendaal
  • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when necessary
  • Willingness to participate in a stand‑by rotation, approximately once every 4 to 5 weeks
  • A team‑oriented mindset, hands‑on attitude and strong attention to detail
Nice to have

It is an advantage if you have experience with one or more of the following:

  • Data centre infrastructure, including rack & stack, cold/hot aisle containment and structured cabling
  • Fibre optic installation, fusion splicing, OTDR testing and troubleshooting
  • Single Mode and Multi Mode fibre, including OS2, OM4 and OM5
  • Troubleshooting at the physical and data link layers
  • Identifying and resolving connectivity issues such as loops, faulty ports, mismatched optics and signal degradation
  • Cable documentation standards and physical network design principles
  • Electrical Engineering
What do we offer?
  • A one-year contract through ITSync, with the possibility of extension. This position is structured as a temporary-to-internal employment arrangement, with the aim of transitioning into an internal ING position after 18 months.

  • A gross monthly salary between €3,872.12 and €5,500, based on 36 hours per week and depending on experience
