Cyber Security Analyst

As Cyber Security Analyst at Robeco, you translate threat intelligence into real business impact. A high‑visibility role with direct exposure to senior stakeholders.
Eligibility  You are currently based in the Netherlands, are fluent in Dutch and are able to work from our Rotterdam office at least 3 days a week.
About the role  Robeco is looking for  a Cyber Security Analyst  to strengthen our cyber resilience and provide insight into the evolving threat landscape. In this role, you act as the organisation’s “external lens” on cyber risk, translating emerging threats into clear, actionable business insights.
You will work within the Digital Policy, Control & Resilience (DPC&R) team, at the heart of Robeco’s cybersecurity and digital risk domain. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), you operate at the intersection of threat intelligence, risk analysis, and senior stakeholder engagement in a global asset management environment.
What you’ll do   Analyse cyber threats and assess their potential impact on Robeco’s business and operations.
Strengthen and further develop Robeco’s threat intelligence capabilities.
Translate technical threats into clear business risks and actionable insights for stakeholders.
Prepare intelligence reports for senior management.
Lead or support root‑cause analysis of major security incidents.
Perform in‑depth analysis of attack methods, trends and threat actors.
Monitor developments in cybersecurity, technology and the broader threat landscape.
Manage and collaborate with Managed Security Service providers (MSS).
Contribute to continuous improvement of cybersecurity processes and controls.
Collaborate with external experts and actively participate in industry security communities.
What you bring   5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence or information security analytics.
Strong understanding of cyber threats, attack vectors and security risks, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment.
Experience working with SIEM tools, security analytics and large‑scale IT environments.
Knowledge of the Microsoft Security Stack (Defender, Sentinel, Azure) is required.

Experience with scripting or query languages such as KQL, Python or Power Shell is preferred.
Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear insights for different audiences.

Fluency in English and Dutch is a hard requirement.
