Position: Head of Purchasing and Supply Chain Management (m/f/x)- Greater
Wearesearchingfora  headofpurchasingand supply chain management (m/f/x)  to lead the purchasing, supply chain management, warehouse, and shipping departments at a manufacturing plant of a global innovator in process measurement technologies, located in the greaterrotterdamarea ,netherlands.

Inthisrole,youwillleadall supply chain functions,includingpurchasing, supply chain management, warehouse, and shipping,withdirectresponsibilityfora teamofapproximately

Youwilldriveoperational excellenceacrossthesite, streamline andoptimizeend-to-endsupplychainprocesses,enhancecostperformanceandservicelevels, andbuilda strong,accountableteamculturefocusedoncontinuousimprovement.

Your responsibilities

Developandexecuteprocurementandsupplychainstrategiesalignedwithproductrequirements,localsiteneeds, and amake-to-orderproductionenvironment

Lead,coach, anddevelopthepurchasing, supply chain, warehouse, and shippingteams

Oversee supplier selection,contract negotiations, andperformancemanagementtoensurequality,costcompetitiveness, and reliability

Build andmaintainlong-termpartnershipswithkeysuppliers,especiallyforcriticalcomponents

Proactivelymanagesupplyrisksthroughdualsourcingstrategies,inventory planning, andstructuredvendorperformancereviews

Ensureaccurateforecasting,inventory control, and materialplanningtosupport on-timeproductionin a high-mix,make-to-ordersetting

Implement andadvanceleanprinciplesand just-in-timeconceptstooptimizeworkingcapitalandreducewaste

Collaborate cross-functionallywithproduction, engineering, quality, and sales in amatrixenvironmenttocontinuouslyimproveprocesses

Overseeinboundandoutboundlogistics,includingcustomscomplianceand international freightcoordination

Drivedigitalizationand erpoptimizationinitiativestoimprovetransparency,efficiency,service levels, andcostperformance

Qualifications

Bachelor’sormaster’sdegreein business administration, engineering,orarelatedfield

Experience insupplychain,procurement, andlogisticswithinamanufacturingenvironment

Strongunderstandingofend-to-endsupplychainprocessesin anindustrialsetting

Experience inmake-to-orderorhigh-mix,low-volumemanufacturingisa plus

Provenleadershipexperience,ideallywithinamatrixorganization

Strongnegotiationandstakeholdermanagementskills

Continuousimprovementmindsetwiththeabilitytodrivechange

Fluent indutchand fullyproficientinbusinessenglish
