Supply Chain Coordinator

HBO- or HEAO diploma, 3 years in a Supply chain position

We welcome a Supply Chain Coordinator to this new position in our organization, a person who can ensure that our supply chain and logistics operations are executed properly.

The Supply Chain Coordinator is part of our admin division that is responsible for setting the stage on production, inventory coordination, processes, and execution, from source till sales, together with MSCN colleagues. You will report directly to the supply chain manager.

The division has Supply chain & logistics activities as production plan execution and order finalization. From your function, you manage the supplies of raw materials & utilities, documentation of in and outgoing flows at our site and third-party warehouse, connect and align with vendors, suppliers, and MGC sales offices in New York USA, and Dusseldorf Germany.

• You will be preparing and implementing processes, purchasing & production plan, inventory management, logistics, and other activities.
• You’ll prepare and set expectations for sellers with MGC sales offices.
• Support documentation related to in and outgoing movements.
• Take care, execute, and keep track of the day-to-day stock levels, production plan, scheduled orders, shipping schedule, and keep updated on logistics routes.
• You’ll identify, control, and analyze regular inventory of raw materials and/or finished MXDA. This includes determining how much should be stored/reserved at each location (including third-party locations) and determining when it is appropriate to use it and/or to require additional deliveries.
• Make sure that the regular MXDA-production line achieves their operational high-quality performance and targets.
• Collaborate with other departments such as Sales offices of MGC in Germany, USA, and Head office MGC Tokyo Japan, Production, SHEQ, Finance & Accounting, third parties to create effective production plans and execution.
• Prepare, organize, and check at the Plant and third-party suppliers, transportation, and logistics routes while combining shipments where possible.
• Analyze data from shipping, logistics, and delivery processes to prevent bottlenecks and other issues.
• Support safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g., loading, unloading, and use of related Plant facilities inside MSCN’s site).
• Safeguard quality, production, and order execution by proactively identifying challenges and creating solutions with stakeholders internal and external.

• HBO- or HEAO diploma (in Logistics or Supply Chain or a similar field are preferred)
• Proven track record of at least 3 years in a Supply chain position or in a similar field.
• Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation.
• Pro-active mindset, strong communication skills, attention to detail & analytical thinking.
• Service and creative problem-solving attitude.
• Able to prioritize, adapt to changes, understand urgency and when to escalate.
• Teamwork skills are important.
• Good skills and knowledge of MS Office.
• Good skills in ERP software are preferred.
• Well-developed communication skills in English (spoken and written) is a must.
