To strengthen our Trade Execution team, we are looking for an Operations Officer – Vegoils
. In this role, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end execution of contracts, ensuring accurate documentation, logistical coordination, and correct financial settlement of transactions.

You will act as a key interface between commercial teams, logistics providers, customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring that all transactions are executed efficiently and in line with contractual agreements.

• Coordinate logistical execution and ensure smooth transport flows
• Input and maintain logistical and operational data in internal systems
• Coordinate with vessel agents and appoint cargo superintendents
• Using various laboratories to ensure that products traded comply with contractual specifications as well as food and feed safety regulations
• Monitor and manage stock levels across internal and external storage locations
• Provide monthly reporting on external stock levels
• Act on operational deviations and resolve issues proactively

• Execute commodity contracts in line with agreed terms and conditions
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of operational documents such as:
• Bills of lading
• Certificates of origin
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation to support smooth operations
• Ensure correct processing of accruals and invoices
• Support accurate and timely contract settlement
• Manage cost implications arising from operational issues

• Act as a central point of contact between internal stakeholders and external partners
• Handle customer complaints, quality and performance‑related issues
• Collaborate closely with commercial and freight teams to ensure smooth execution
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and data quality

• Bachelor’s degree (HBO) – Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field is an advantage
• Relevant experience in trade execution
  , logistics or supply chain operations is preferred
• Strong graduates or early‑career professionals with visible interest in commodity trading and logistics are also encouraged to apply
• Experience in commodity trading, shipping or a logistics‑driven environment is a strong advantage
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proactive and solution‑oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders

• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) is a plus
