Responsibilities Procurement Management
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for direct and indirect commodities aligned with business objectives and market conditions.
  • Lead supplier selection, contract negotiation, and performance management to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and service levels.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, fostering collaboration and mutual value creation.
  • Identify cost‑reduction opportunities while maintaining quality, service standards, and supply‑chain resilience.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day purchasing activities, ensuring timely purchase order execution, supplier follow‑up, issue resolution, and delivery tracking.
  • Monitor global market trends, supplier risks, commodity developments, and capacity constraints to mitigate disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical sourcing standards, contractual obligations, and sustainability requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers to support new product introductions, supplier selection, and cost‑optimization initiatives.
Supply Chain Management
  • Develop and execute supply‑chain strategies to optimise inventory levels, cash flow, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee demand and supply planning, inventory management, and replenishment activities to maintain product availability and minimise excess stock.
  • Ensure continuity of supply through proactive risk management, supplier diversification, and contingency planning.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and Product Management to align supply‑chain activities with business needs.
  • Partner with Trade Compliance to ensure regulatory compliance, import/export requirements, and customs processes throughout the product lifecycle.
Supplier & Inventory Performance
  • Establish supplier KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews focused on quality, delivery, responsiveness, innovation, and cost performance.
  • Drive supplier development initiatives to improve reliability and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor inventory health, obsolescence, safety stock levels, and product availability to support operational and commercial objectives.
  • Optimise inventory levels while balancing working‑capital targets, supply risks, and customer‑service expectations.
  • Lead monthly inventory forecasting, develop projections, and provide bridge analyses between actual and forecasted inventory values.
Leadership & People Management
  • Lead, develop, and coach procurement, planning, and supply‑chain teams toward operational excellence and business objectives.
  • Establish clear objectives, priorities, and performance expectations to foster accountability and collaboration.
  • Structure the organization effectively with defined roles and responsibilities for efficient execution.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, teamwork, and customer focus.
  • Support succession planning, talent development, and capability building for long‑term success.
Continuous Improvement & Digital Transformation
  • Lead initiatives to improve procurement and supply‑chain processes through efficiency, quality, and customer service enhancements.
  • Support ERP implementation, enhancement, and adoption to drive process standardisation and data accuracy.
  • Standardise and document processes for governance and scalability.
  • Utilise data analytics, KPI reporting, and business‑intelligence tools to support fact‑based decision making.
Qualifications
  • BS/BA in Procurement, Supply‑Chain Management, Engineering, or Operations Management.
  • 5+ years of procurement management experience within an international supply‑chain context.
  • Profound knowledge of Supplier Relationship Management tools (NDAs, quarterly business reports, quality improvements, compliance monitoring, etc.).
  • Experience managing supplier agreements, cost analysis, and contract writing.
  • Negotiation skills and interest in technical products.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word) and warehouse/inventory management systems; ERP experience preferred.
