At Fritz&Muller we are collaborating with a leading international company in the Food Ingredients Industry, in the search for a Supply Chain Specialist to join their team in Rotterdam
.
We are looking for a candidate with a solid background in supply chain planning and coordination, procurement and inventory management, and international logistics coordination, used to working in dynamic environments with multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities- End-to-end supply chain planning and coordination (procurement, production, and distribution flows).
- Purchasing management: supplier negotiation, issuing and following up on purchase orders, and monitoring delivery lead times.
- Inventory and stock management, ensuring the right balance between product availability and cost optimization.
- Coordination with Production, Quality, Logistics, and Sales departments to ensure accurate planning and on-time delivery.
- Management of import and export operations, including related documentation (transport, customs, certificates, etc.).
- Tracking of logistics KPIs (OTIF, stock levels, lead times) and preparation of periodic reports.
- Agile resolution of incidents related to supply, transport, quality, or product availability.
- Management and updating of information in SAP, as well as maintenance of supply chain–related documentation.
- Involvement in continuous improvement projects for logistics and supply chain processes.
- Daily communication with international suppliers and partners in English.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, or Logistics roles within B2B environments.
- Highly valued: experience in the food ingredients sector, flavors, fragrances, additives, raw materials, or related industries.
- Experience managing international import/export operations.
- Fluent English (mandatory).
- Advanced SAP skills; experience with other planning tools (S&OP, ERP, etc.) will be a plus.
- Analytical, organized profile with strong planning skills, incident resolution capability, and a results-driven mindset.
