Warehouse Storekeeper

Storekeeper to support the smooth daily operations of our warehouse, handling maritime stores and provisions.

The role involves assisting with receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and contributing to the timely and accurate supply of vessels.

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and checking incoming deliveries of maritime stores and provisions.

• Store goods systematically, ensuring proper labelling, stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and compliance with food hygiene standards.

• Prepare, pack, and stage orders for dispatch to vessels in line with operational schedules.

• Support loading and unloading activities in a safe and efficient manner.

• Help maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety across warehouse, cold storage, and loading bay areas.

• Perform stock checks and assist in inventory control by reporting shortages or discrepancies.

• Handle temperature‑sensitive goods (frozen and chilled items) with care, following food safety requirements.

• Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) when trained and authorized.

• Collaborate with the Warehouse Supervisor and other departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

• Comply with company policies, health & safety standards, and port regulations at all times.

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations

• Experience in food provisions handling or maritime logistics is an advantage

• Knowledge of food safety standards, and cold chain management preferred

• Good communication skills in written and spoken English

• Physically fit and able to work in a hands‑on warehouse environment

• Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail

• Forklift license or willingness to be trained will be considered an advantage

• Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities in a fast‑paced supply environment
