Test new and existing electromechanical medical devices by running electrical, mechanical, and environmental evaluations in the Reliability Test Lab. Set up and operate test stands and a variety of electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment, including environmental chambers, life test equipment, gauges, and electrical/electronic meters. Follow directions from the Reliability Test Manager, Lab Supervisor, and Test Engineers to perform tests safely, monitor results, and record test data accurately.

Complete teardown destructive testing or test-to-failure activities as part of the product development process. Design and document testing configurations, create test reports, and communicate timely, documented results to the appropriate engineering personnel.

At least 6 years of testing, lab, or related experience with hands‑on work in a technical environment. Understanding of electromechanical systems and the ability to recognize mechanical, electrical, or system abnormalities. Hands‑on instrumentation and data acquisition experience, including measurement test equipment. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, plus strong verbal, writing, and organizational skills to maintain records and support problem resolution.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics, with working knowledge of mechanical gauging and instruments (micrometers, calipers, force gages, dial indicators, and hardness testers).
