Senior Technician – Baxter International Inc.
As the Senior Technician, you will work on assignments that are complex in nature, requiring judgment in resolving problems and making routine recommendations. You may determine methods and procedures for new assignments and provide guidance to other non‑exempt personnel. Apply basic and some advanced techniques and procedures to a diversity of assigned projects, including sustaining Medical Products and New Product Development initiatives.

Responsibilities- Responsible for performing a wide variety of research and/or development laboratory tasks and experiments.
- Responsible for running test procedures, limited troubleshooting, and documenting systems test results.
- Responsible for review of test procedures and correct/modify as needed.
- Responsible for the adequate set‑up of equipment and supplies as needed for associated procedures or R&D project.
- Follow laboratory procedures for methods associated with control of records, test variables, equipment calibration and documentation practices.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Work with engineers for collection of data and information related to non‑formal testing or evaluation practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Assist in compiling observations, analyzing data and interpreting results.
- May write experimental reports, summaries and protocols.
- Perform simple troubleshooting and calibration of instruments.
- High School diploma or equivalent, AA Degree preferred, 2‑4 years’ experience in related field.
- Proficient use of laboratory equipment and tools.
- Familiarity with GMP/GLP desired.
- Proficient in recording original data.
- Basic science and math skills.
- Ability to use computer for word processing, spreadsheets, document retrieval, e‑mail, business calendars.
- Basic understanding of documentation systems.
- Knowledge and working application of standard operating procedures.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with a fast pace, changing priorities and deadlines.

CompensationEstimated base salary: $56,000–$77,000 annually. Payments may vary based on market data and other factors. The position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
