Construction Grade Checker

DNT Construction, LLC is looking for field personnel to perform rough and precise grading.

• Understand plans and specs, layout of crew and project
• Provide clear direction for cut/fill
• Set hubs and stakes, calculate percentages, volumes, areas, and production rates
• Accurately set grade and set up sloping laser
• Shoot in building elevations, set up and operate GPS
• Operate within OSHA and DNT safety policies
• Help achieve project schedules
• Observe, direct, and control equipment excavating activities to conform to stake references
• Communicate with equipment operators, supervision, and management

Experience in the use of measuring instruments and hand tools is necessary. Must have training in marking and reading survey stakes to determine grade specifications. Ability to observe, direct, and control equipment excavating activities.

• On time and ready to work
• Pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical
• Able to work outside in all weather for extended periods
• Effective communication with management and field personnel
• Bilingual is a plus but not required
