Ballet Instructor

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Ballet Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ballet, with the ability to teach advanced ballet classes and beginner to intermediate levels in a variety of other dance styles.

• Teach advanced ballet classes with a focus on technique, artistry, and performance.
• Instruct beginner and intermediate classes in other styles, such as contemporary, jazz, tap, or hip‑hop.
• Choreograph and teach routines for annual spring recitals.
• Mentor students, fostering their growth in both technical and creative aspects of dance.
• Contribute to studio events, performances, and conventions as needed.
• Assist with refining and improving the studio’s curriculum and pedagogy, especially for the ballet program.
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

• Experience teaching and performing ballet at advanced levels.
• Proficiency in a variety of dance styles for beginner and intermediate levels.
• Choreographic experience, particularly in ballet or related styles.
• Passion for working with students of all ages and skill levels.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A collaborative spirit and a positive attitude.

• Degree in dance or related field.
• Experience with musical theater dance styles and choreography.
• Familiarity with beginner to intermediate dance pedagogy.
