• Forge meaningful relationships with educators, administrators, and key influencers within your territory, anticipating their needs and delivering exceptional customer service to elevate their experience.
• Identify growth opportunities and develop strategic plans to expand our presence, deepen relationships with educators, drive sales, and foster trust.
• Engage regularly with educators through in-person and virtual meetings, participate in educator conferences and other relevant events.
• Execute daily and long-term tasks across your portfolio to sustain and boost sales, providing insights to enhance B2B and B2B2C experiences.
• Champion the Be Part of the Music initiative, raising awareness and facilitating access to its educational resources.
• Collaborate with educators to devise strategies that enhance student participation and retention in music programs.
• Provide dedicated support through recruitment, demonstrations, testing and fittings, and rental events to help educators cultivate thriving music programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, Music Business, Jazz Studies, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of band and/or orchestral instruments; prior experience advantageous
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with passion for music education
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Ability to travel with valid driver’s license and automotive insurance
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
• Flexible scheduling, including availability for evening work

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience working with educators and/or within the music industry
• Fluency in Spanish for effective communication with Spanish-speaking individuals

Compensation and Perks: Pay rate typically ranges; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, mental health support, paid time off, employee discounts, and other programs. A company vehicle is provided in some roles. Gig Leave may be available for eligible musicians.
