Head of Factory Solution Business Development

Position Summary:

The Head of Factory Solution Business Development (FSBD) will lead and expand the company’s U.S. business across semiconductor manufacturing, factory manufacturing control systems (FMCS), factory automation, data centers, biopharma, shipbuilding, and large‑scale industrial facilities. This role owns the full commercial lifecycle including technical and commercial business development, account management, proposal leadership, contract negotiation, pipeline forecasting, and performance reporting. This position requires deep semiconductor industry expertise (10+ years), a strong professional network with global semiconductor owners and EPC/GC firms, solid understanding of SCADA and utility systems, and the ability to operate effectively in the U.S. business environment.

The ideal candidate brings executive‑level leadership experience and blends technical knowledge with commercial execution to drive long‑term growth.

Business Development & Market Expansion (30%)

  • Lead U.S. semiconductor and industrial business development strategy with direct ownership of revenue growth.
  • Drive opportunities across advanced manufacturing, fabs, FMCS, automation platforms, data centers, and industrial plants.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with global semiconductor owners and OEMs (e.g., Samsung, SK Hynix, Micron, Intel) and EPC/GC firms (e.g., Samsung E&A, Fluor, Turner, Bechtel).
  • Own senior‑level client relationships and strategic account plans.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasting.
  • Lead RFQ/RFP strategy, pricing development, and commercial terms.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations to align proposals with technical scope, utility interfaces, and SCADA integration.
  • Apply commercial judgment to technical solutions to ensure competitiveness and profitability.

Leadership, Governance & Reporting (15%)

  • Build and lead U.S. FSBD organization.
  • Implement reporting systems for KPI tracking, revenue forecasting, and pipeline health.
  • Deliver regular executive‑level performance updates to HQ.
  • Establish governance for document control and commercial approvals.

Stakeholder Engagement, Market Presence & Culture Alignment (15%)

  • Represent the company with U.S. clients and global affiliates.
  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of U.S. business culture, contracting norms, and procurement procedures.
  • Develop partnerships with EPC/GCs and factory automation integrators.
  • Attend industry conferences: SEMICON, ENR, BIO, Data Center events.

Strategic Planning & Growth Execution (15%)

  • Develop U.S. growth strategy and sector penetration plans.
  • Lead market entry strategy for factory solutions and new customer segments.
  • Support corporate strategic initiatives with data‑driven reporting.

Other Responsibilities (5%)

  • Support audits, governance, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead process improvements and internal automation initiatives.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred

• 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry, including exposure to fab utilities, automation, FMCS, SCADA, UPW, or related fields

• 15+ years of progressive experience in industrial business development, EPC project management, automation/utility systems, or solution sales

• Proven success in managing high‑value B2B contracts in semiconductor facilities or large plant sectors

• Strong network with global semiconductor owners (Micron, Intel, TSMC, Samsung, SK hynix, Texas Instruments, etc.) and EPC/GCs

• Technical understanding of SCADA, FMCS, UPW, utility control systems, and factory automation workflows
