Senior Mechanical Engineer

In this position, you will review and approve mechanical designs for medium and low voltage products used in data centers. You’ll ensure structural integrity, thermal performance, and compliance with industry standards while collaborating with overseas teams and supporting factory builds.

• Review and approve 3D models and fabrication drawings for skids, enclosures, and assemblies
• Verify structural design
  , lifting points, seismic/wind considerations, and transportation constraints
• Evaluate thermal management for enclosed power modules
• Maintain mechanical design standards
  , material specs, and corrosion protection requirements
• Provide final engineering sign-off and resolve mechanical non-conformities during factory builds
• Represent the company at customer meetings and technical conferences

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• 5+ years mechanical design experience in heavy electrical equipment or industrial skids
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (Solid Works or similar)
• Understanding of structural design, lifting/rigging, and thermal analysis
• Familiarity with ASCE, AISC, AWS, ASHRAE standards preferred
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas or ability to obtain within 12 months
• Mandarin proficiency is a plus for overseas collaboration
