PROMAN Staffing is seeking a Senior
Electrical Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team in Round Rock, TX
.

In this role, you will transform system one-line diagrams into detailed electrical schematics and layouts, specify components, ensure compliance with UL/NEC standards, and support testing and troubleshooting for cutting-edge power distribution systems.

• Develop detailed three-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and panel layouts from system one-lines.
• Select and specify electrical components (breakers, relays, CT/PT, UPS, meters, protective devices).
• Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, and procurement documentation.
• Collaborate with Mechanical and Power Systems Engineers for optimized layouts and cable routing.
• Support PLC/controls integration with I/O lists and wiring details.
• Review vendor drawings for compliance with UL/NEC standards.
• Participate in design reviews and resolve electrical design issues.
• Assist with FAT/SAT testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.

• Education: B.S. in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: 5+ years in LV/MV power distribution or switch gear/UPS design.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, UL standards, and industrial control panels.
• Proficiency in CAD or Visio for schematics and wiring tables.
• Familiarity with protective relays and communication protocols preferred.
• Experience with data center power distribution or modular systems is a plus.
