A EDP is a 3-year rotational program designed for entry level hires to explore up to three different design centers in their first three years with American Structure point.

• Develop Well-Rounded Engineers through rotations across our Road group and Indianapolis, Ohio, Florida/Texas
• Gain Exposure to Regional Projects and varying client needs
• Understand the Full Project Lifecycle from design to field implementation
• Build Cross-Office Collaboration Skills with teams across design centers and job sites
• Prepare Future Project Leaders with diverse, real-world experience
• Enhance Engagement & Retention by aligning strengths with roles and locations

• Contribute to roadway designs, layout alignments, create typical sections, site assessment and engineering report development
• Creating construction plan sets in Micro Station ORD CAD Program
• Prepare design calculation documentation
• Develop construction cost estimates
• Work on projects including Roundabouts, Urban Roads, Rural Roads and Large Interstate Improvements
• Work is completed in the office with occasional site visits
• Other duties as assigned

• Students majoring in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Survey or Structural Engineering or related programs with emphasis on Civil Engineering
• Reliable transportation to and from office location
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and try new things
• Graduating in December 2025 or May/June 2026
