- Collaborate with the team to design Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and medium voltage systems
- Conduct system studies, including ampacity, load flow, and short circuit analysis
- Prepare, schedule, and monitor engineering project designs and analyses
- Interact with clients to understand and fulfill their needs and requirements
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, QA/QC policies, and performance standards
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Engineering
- 3-5+ years of experience in BESS, renewable energy, or distribution systems
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification, with the ability to obtain a PE license in the future
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with system studies using software such as CYME or ETAP
- Familiarity with modeling software like HOMER Energy Toolbase or ESWare
- Master's Degree in Engineering with a focus on renewable energy
- Experience with photovoltaic (PV) and wind systems
- Background in construction or working with BESS connections to existing systems
