After a successful product launch and winning several large drinking water projects, the SiC Team is rapidly expanding its presence in the Municipal Water & Wastewater Market. As we grow, the Procurement Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and supporting our mission to deliver innovative silicon carbide (SiC) ultrafiltration technology to municipalities across North America.

The Procurement Specialist is a key partner in our growth journey, responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and securing the materials and services that power our water and wastewater treatment solutions. Location: Round Rock, TX (hybrid – WFH/In-Office full time)

• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Project Management teams to identify procurement needs for SiC water & wastewater treatment systems.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and secure competitive pricing for equipment, components, and services.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to support project schedules and successful system installations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement in quality, reliability, and cost.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier communications and escalations.

• Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and value enhancement.
• Implement best practices in procurement to maximize efficiency and minimize risk.
• Support the SiC Team's commitment to delivering high-quality solutions at optimal cost.

• Work closely with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
• Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and process improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to training and knowledge sharing to elevate procurement capabilities across the organization.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 3-5 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the water/wastewater treatment industry or related technical field.
• Analytical skills:
  Ability to interpret data, perform cost analysis, and leverage insights for strategic procurement decisions.
• Time management:
  Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving:
  Aptitude for identifying challenges, troubleshooting issues, and implementing effective solutions.
• Experience with sourcing mechanical equipment, instrumentation, and controls is a plus.
• Knowledge of procurement principles, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
• Post-secondary degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related discipline.
• Ability to travel to supplier sites and project locations as needed.
• Valid driver's license.
