our team is looking for a talented and dynamic public address announcer to be the primary in-stadium voice during all home games. This individual will deliver clear, professional, and engaging announcements that elevate the fan experience, support promotional activations, and maintain the game's official flow. If you have a strong, confident voice and thrive in a fast-paced, live-event environment, we want you on our team.
key responsibilities
- serve as the official in-game voice for starting lineups, player introductions, sponsor reads, scoring updates, public safety announcements, and in-game promotions.
- maintain accuracy, clarity, and professionalism with all game-related and sponsored announcements.
- work closely with game entertainment, production, and baseball operations staff to ensure timing, delivery, and execution align with game scripts and milb/mlb regulations.
- announce substitutions, pinch hitters, pinch runners, and other required game information in real time.
- deliver sponsor scripts and promotional reads in an engaging and brand-appropriate tone.
- react quickly to last-minute changes, cue adjustments, or unexpected game situations.
- maintain a family-friendly, neutral, and professional pa style appropriate for milb standards.
- attend production meetings when needed to understand timing, pacing, and run-of-show expectations.
- prior experience in pa announcing, broadcasting, voice work, acting, or public speaking strongly preferred.
- strong vocal presence with excellent diction, clarity, and pronunciation.
- must remain calm, focused, and accurate in high-pressure, fast-moving in-game situations.
- ability to follow scripts while also improvising professionally when needed.
- must be punctual, dependable, and comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season.
- solid understanding of baseball rules, terminology, and timing is highly preferred.
- ability to take direction well and work collaboratively with the game entertainment and production teams.
- professional, neutral broadcast tone with the ability to add excitement appropriately.
- strong attention to detail and timing.
- adaptable and composed during unexpected changes or live-event curveballs.
- team-oriented, positive attitude and a passion for enhancing the fan experience.
- comfortable being the authoritative voice of the ballpark while maintaining milb-appropriate energy.
