Multispecialty Ultrasound Technologist (PRN) – Baylor Scott & White Round Rock Medical Center
Location: Round Rock, TX
Schedule: PRN Shifts May Vary
Facility: Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Round Rock
Join our Imaging Team. Baylor Scott & White Health is hiring an experienced Multispecialty Ultrasound Technologist to join our Imaging Department at Baylor Scott & White Round Rock Medical Center. This full‑time evening shift position offers a $10,000 sign‑on bonus, consistent Monday‑Friday hours, and the opportunity to perform a wide variety of advanced ultrasound procedures in a leading Central Texas medical center.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in two or more specialties following departmental protocols.
- Produce high‑quality sonographic images and provide accurate measurements for physician interpretation.
- Identify, evaluate, and document abnormalities; extend exam scope when medically necessary.
- Prepare and position patients; explain procedures clearly to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Assist providers with ultrasound‑guided procedures in the imaging department or OR.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; ensure quality control and proper calibration.
- Follow strict infection control, safety, and patient‑care protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with Radiologists, nurses, and technologists to support exceptional care.
- Document all procedures accurately within PACS and EMR systems.
- Participate in call rotation as needed.

- Education: Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of multispecialty ultrasound experience.
- Certification / Licensure:
- Certified by ARDMS in at least two specialties, such as:
- RDMS: AB, OB/GYN, , PS
- RDCS: AE, FE, PE
- RVT or RMSKS
- BLS Certification (within 30 days of hire).
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and sonographic principles.
- Excellent communication, patient care, and problem‑solving skills.
