Job DescriptionAre you passionate about making a lasting impact on the lives of adults with emotional and behavioral challenges? We’re looking for someone who is driven, compassionate, and ready to work alongside adults and their families to foster growth, healing, and resilience. In this role, you’ll provide case management, skills training, and medication education in an outpatient clinic-based setting. Your work will help guide adults and their families toward better mental health and wellness, using evidence-based treatment methods and personalized care plans.
As a key member of a multidisciplinary recovery team, you’ll offer support through crisis intervention, connect individuals to vital community resources, and provide rehabilitative services.
You’ll be utilizing your knowledge of behavioral health, including medications, substance use treatment, and evidence-based practices, to make a difference every day. Responsibilities- Build meaningful, therapeutic relationships with adults and families through engagement and support
- Provide case management and therapeutic skills training and connect individuals to crucial community resources
- Assess individuals’ strengths and needs, creating tailored Person-Centered Recovery Plans
- Document services in a timely manner and ensure consistent follow-up care
- Collaborate with a passionate interdisciplinary team of professionals dedicated to adult recovery
- Use innovative thinking and resilience to navigate challenging situations and crises
Location:
Round Rock, TX
Hourly Salary Range: $21.46 – $30.71
Salary Amount: $44,636.80 – $63,876.80 per year
Differential Detail- Up to $4.00/hr – Tenure with BTCS
- $0.75/hr – Bilingual
- Up to $2.00/hr – Prior experience in a similar role with a community center in Texas
- $1.00/hr – Advanced Licensure
- $0.50/hr – LCDC Licensure
- Eligibility for $600 quarterly Service Delivery Incentive Award
- Bachelor’s degree in a social, behavioral, or human service field or equivalent coursework with knowledge of mental illness
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and maintain approved driver’s status throughout employment
- If degree is not in a human services field, a minimum of 24 college credits in a human services field are required
- One year of experience in mental health assessment and/or crisis intervention and screening
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related human service field
- Bilingual, Spanish and/or ASL preferred
