Overview

Join our team and make a difference in the lives of adults and their families. We are looking for a compassionate, driven individual to provide case management, skills training, and medication education in an outpatient setting, adults and families toward better mental health using evidence-based treatment methods and personalized care plans.

What You’ll Do
  • Build meaningful, therapeutic relationships with adults and families through engagement and support
  • Provide case management, therapeutic skills training, and connect individuals to crucial community resources
  • Assess individuals strengths and needs, creating tailored Person-Centered Recovery Plans
  • Document services in a timely manner and ensure consistent follow-up care
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of professionals dedicated to adult recovery
  • Use innovative thinking and resilience to navigate challenging situations and crises
Differential Detail
  • Up to $4.00/hr – Tenure with BTCS
  • $0.75/hr – Bilingual
  • $0.20/hr – Prior experience in a similar role with a community center in Texas
  • $1.00/hr – Advanced Licensure
  • $0.50/hr – LCDC Licensure
  • Eligibility for $600 quarterly Service Delivery Incentive Award

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a social, behavioral, or human service field with knowledge of mental illness
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License and maintain approved driver status throughout employment
  • If degree is not in a human services field, a minimum of 24 college credits in a human services field are required
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of experience in mental health assessment and/or crisis intervention and screening
  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work or a related human service field
  • Bilingual, Spanish and/or ASL preferred
