We are seeking a(an) Special Procedures Technologist for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. As a Special Procedures Technologist, you are responsible for operating the imaging equipment and producing radiographs according to the standards and practices set forth by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. You will assists the radiologist or physician to perform both diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will demonstrate knowledge of the human structure and functions, patient care, positioning, principles of radiographic sciences, radiation protection and specialized techniques unique to the Special Procedures environment.
- You will assists with all procedures performed in the Interventional Suite
- You will demonstrate proficiency with all equipment within the Interventional Suite procedure room including but not limited to:
Fluoro, Pan Table, Med Rad injector, Monitors, Ultrasound Unit, Control panels for digital acquisition and image transfer - You will Demonstrate sterile technique as appropriate and maintain sterile field while performing scrub position
- You will prepare patient and room for exams while managing wires and other multiple components required for procedure
- You will perform role of circulator during procedure including:
Pull supplies, altering technique as phase of exam requires, Man and operate injector, Communicate to patients family/unit progress, and Answer physician calls/pages during procedure - You will provide patient care throughout procedure while explaining the procedure to patient and…
