American Traveler is hiring a 13-week contract MRI Technologist for weekday overnight shifts in a hospital radiology department.
Requirements- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
- BLS certification required at hire (AHA or ARC accepted)
- Minimum 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in the specialty
- Multimodality experience in XR or CT preferred
- Must be a team player able to work independently
- No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months
- License required if applicable
- 209-bed hospital with MRI unit staffed by 1-2 day techs and 1 overnight tech
- Night shift team includes MRI, X-ray, CT, and ultrasound technologists
- Uses GE Artist 1.5 MRI equipment
- EMR:
Meditech with Fuji Synapse PACS - Typical procedures include neuro, general body, and MSK imaging
- Schedule is Monday-Thursday, 8:30 PM to 6:00 AM
- Call not required but preferred if willing
- Perform MRI scans for neuro, general body, and MSK cases
- Dress code requires olive top with black bottoms or all-black scrubs
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Local candidates will not be considered
