Role Overview This role supports an Enterprise Caching Team and Kubernetes Development Team, with a primary focus on day-to-day platform operations, production support, monitoring, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate will function as an operational engineer responsible for maintaining platform stability while also contributing to automation initiatives and infrastructure improvements. This position will help ensure platform reliability, performance, and availability.

Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the first line of support for platform and caching-related issues.
* Monitor production environments, platform health, performance, and capacity; respond to operational incidents.
* Troubleshoot customer-facing application and platform issues, performing initial triage and investigation.
* Escalate complex issues to subject matter experts as needed.
* Execute maintenance activities including upgrades, patching, backups, and recovery procedures.
* Assist with Redis configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting activities.
* Develop and maintain operational automation using Ansible and scripting tools.
* Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
* Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure caching services meet enterprise requirements.
* Participate in on-call and operational support rotations as required.

Required Qualifications
* Experience supporting Linux-based systems, infrastructure, or platforms in enterprise environments.
* A background in production support with an understanding of platform operations and monitoring.
* Experience with Ansible or similar automation and configuration management tools.
* Familiarity with Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to learn quickly and operate independently in a support-focused environment.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Redis administration or other caching technologies.
* Understanding of caching concepts such as key-value stores, data expiration, replication, and performance tuning.
* Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, containers, or Helm.
* Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
* Experience supporting high-availability systems.
