Associate Attorney

Associate Attorney – Round Rock, TX

Base salary: $90,000–$105,000 per year plus applicable bonus. This is a full‑time, full‑benefit position.

• Communicate effectively and appropriately with team members and outside parties
• Draft, review, and file legal pleadings, motions, discovery, and other documents in active litigation files
• Review litigation case files and pleadings to determine appropriate action
• Advocate on behalf of the client’s interests at various litigation settings
• Utilize internal proprietary software to update and document the status of each account in the assigned inventory
• Analyze and process litigation inventory reports and files, as assigned by Managing Attorney, to ensure proper workflow pursuant to firm and client expectations
• Comply with all client and firm standard operating procedures
• Travel to various courtrooms within the branch office footprint as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Admitted to practice law and in good standing in Texas
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly motivated self‑starter
• Eager to learn and grow
• Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload
• Effective communication in a common language with individuals or groups, verbally and/or in writing
• Proficient computer and phone usage
• Commit to a minimum of a 40‑hour flexible workweek
• Ability to read and comprehend position‑specific documents and correspondence

• At least one year of litigation/trial experience
• Working knowledge of civil procedure
• Debt collection experience
• Prior experience in a high‑volume environment

• Capable of lifting five pounds or greater
• Capable of sitting 90% of the workday at times
• Capable of bending at the waist and being mobile when needed
• Capable of concentrating and using critical thinking
