Base pay range: $50,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr.

We are seeking a Convention Services Manager to service assigned group conferences and special events, preparing both types for successful event execution. You’ll work closely with event planners to plan details of their agenda, including room setup, audio‑visual needs, and menu design. The key to success is ensuring a “beyond expectations” experience is delivered. Additionally, you’ll handle bookings for day‑time events, as well as prospects for certain social events.

You’ll have the opportunity to optimize revenue goals by suggesting menu enhancements and other resort amenities that align with clients’ needs. As a leader, you’ll bring our Promise to life—supporting associates, inspiring teamwork, and delivering unforgettable guest experiences.

What You’ll Do:

• Event Planning & Coordination – Oversee the planning, setup, and execution of conventions, meetings, and group events, ensuring all client requirements and resort standards are met.
• Client Relationship Management – Serve as the primary point of contact for group clients, maintaining strong relationships, addressing concerns, and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
• Team & Operational Oversight – Lead and coordinate convention services staff, manage resources, timelines, and logistics, and ensure compliance with safety, brand, and operational standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a hotel/resort with an event space of at least 20,000 sq. Ft., and heavy group volume is required.
• 2-5 years of catering manager/conference services manager or similar event planning experience.
• Experience detailing & managing large (1000+ people), complex, multi‑day events with many moving parts.
• Experience negotiating changes in complex programs.
• A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
