About the role

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Line Inspector is responsible for reviewing products and materials during the course of manufacture to make sure they meet company requirements.

What you'll do

  • Inspect, sample, and test products and materials during manufacturing to ensure they meet company and customer standards.
  • Document results and recommendations on inspection reports, batch sheets, and other documentation.
  • Count the number of products tested or inspected.
  • Weigh materials, products, containers, or samples to verify packaging weight.
  • Monitor production operations to ensure conformance to GMP and ISO 22716 standards.
  • Place non-conforming products, materials, and/or equipment on hold and communicate to management, peers, and appropriate departments.
  • Write non-conformance reports to document deficiencies and errors as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year quality experience in a manufacturing facility preferred
  • Availability during operating hours with consistent attendance
  • Understanding of quality control standards and inspection techniques
  • Basic computer skills with experience in data entry in such applications as Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Asana, etc.
  • Detail oriented with basic technical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
