A detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to manage and perform calibration, verification, and maintenance of measurement and test equipment used throughout our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure all equipment remains within specified tolerances and complies with internal quality systems and external standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, or other applicable requirements).

• Perform calibration, verification, and functional checks on a variety of instruments and equipment (e.g., pressure, temperature, dimensional, electrical, torque, and flow devices)
• Maintain and update calibration records, certificates, and traceability documentation in accordance with internal quality procedures
• Identify and segregate equipment found out of tolerance
• Coordinate repairs or adjustments with internal teams or external vendors
• Develop and maintain calibration schedules to ensure on-time service for all equipment
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for measurement-related nonconformances
• Work with quality and engineering teams to define calibration requirements for new or modified equipment
• Ensure all calibration activities meet relevant standards (e.g., NIST traceability, ISO/IEC 17025, or customer-specific requirements)
• Assist in audit preparation and provide technical support during internal and external audits
• Maintain a clean, organized calibration area and follow all safety protocols and environmental procedures

• Education:
  
  Associate’s degree in Metrology, Engineering Technology, Physics, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience:
  
  5+ years performing calibrations or working in a metrology or testing environment
• Familiarity with measurement principles, uncertainty, and common standards for dimensional, electrical, or mechanical calibration
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and equipment manuals
• Strong computer skills and experience with calibration management software (e.g., GAGEtrak, Indy Soft, or similar)
• Excellent attention to detail, recordkeeping, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment

• ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) preferred
• ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) preferred

• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
• Work may involve standing for extended periods or using fine motor tools
• Typical work environment: laboratory and production floor
