We are hiring an experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Manager (RN) to lead an advanced cardiac team in the Round Rock, Texas area
.
This role offers a unique opportunity to oversee a dedicated electrophysiology program known for innovation, research collaboration, and superior patient outcomes. The manager will guide daily operations across multiple EP suites while fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and clinical excellence.
- Direct and coordinate all aspects of EP Lab operations, including pre/post procedural and recovery areas.
- Lead and mentor a large clinical and technical team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care.
- Ensure departmental compliance with nursing standards, policies, and accrediting agencies.
- Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation across six functioning EP labs (with expansion in progress).
- Support the integration and maintenance of multiple mapping systems (Carto, Abbott Precision, Boston Arrhythmia, and others).
- Facilitate staff education, performance evaluations, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and administrative leaders to optimize workflow and patient satisfaction.
Required:
- Active RN license (Texas or Compact state).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- At least 3 years of acute care or procedural nursing leadership experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Preferred:
- Prior management or supervisory experience in Electrophysiology, Cath Lab, or Cardiac Services.
- Strong familiarity with advanced mapping systems and EP procedural protocols.
- Competitive hourly pay: $48.00 to $63.00/hour (based on experience).
