American Traveler is hiring a night-shift RN for an IMC Stepdown unit requiring BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

• IMC Stepdown unit within a hospital setting
• 34-bed unit staffed with 9 RNs and 4 PCTs per shift plus a charge nurse
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Uses bedside monitors, glucometers, dopplers, standing scales, and Hoyer lifts
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend rotation required
• No on-call requirements

• Active RN license (TX or compact)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• CATN, TCAR, or TCCN certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the specialty
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Certifications must not expire within 30 days of start date

• Care for patients requiring emergent chest tube placement, midline or PICC insertion, and emergent bedside bronchoscopy
• Strong teamwork orientation valued on this unit
• Navy blue scrub tops and pants required
• Permanent positions also available on this unit
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
