American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week assignment at a multispecialty Level II trauma center requiring 2+ years of acute care multispecialty OR experience.

• Operating Room unit with 10 ORs in a multispecialty Level II trauma center with in-house staffing 24/7
• Unit staffed with 1 charge nurse, 3 PCTs, and 3 anesthesia techs during day shift, with on-call coverage 24 hours
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Shift hours are 5:30am-5:00pm with preference for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday schedule
• Block scheduling available
• No weekend or holiday requirements
• No on-call requirement
• No floating required

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of experience at an acute care center with multispecialty OR experience required
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Scrubs are provided
• Radius rule applies and may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
• First-time travelers may be considered
