Job Description: Our client is seeking a skilled Emergency Veterinarian to join a busy specialty and emergency hospital in the Round Rock area. This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy managing high-acuity cases while collaborating with a team of specialists across critical care, internal medicine, surgery, and other disciplines.
The position offers flexibility for full- or part-time schedules and provides mentorship opportunities for newer graduates or those transitioning into emergency medicine. In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating and stabilizing emergency patients with precision and care
- Working alongside specialty teams to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans
- Mentoring and supporting less experienced veterinarians and interns
- Maintaining accurate and thorough medical documentation
- Contributing to a collaborative, respectful, and efficient hospital culture
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent
- Experience or internship/mentorship in emergency medicine preferred
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
