Inside Sales Representative

Summary

We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative with excellent organization skills and a personable disposition. The ideal candidate has a natural ability to roll with the punches, being flexible to handle anything that might come their way. You’ll be a strong and reliable support to company operations, maintaining procedures, communication and customer service. • Inside showroom product sales and support outside sales teams when customers visit the showroom.
• Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, using business directories, industry ads, trade shows, internet sites and other sources.
• Display or demonstrate product, using samples, catalog, website and emphasizing sellable features.
• Quote prices and credit terms and prepare sales contracts for orders.
• Responsible for credit and collections regarding sales orders.
• Estimate date of delivery to the customer, based on knowledge of the firm’s production and delivery schedules.
• Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
• Use CRM tools to log and document opportunities and customer interactions.
• Investigate and resolve customer delivery issues.
• Attend trade shows and other networking events as necessary.

• Ability to find solutions for customer and make recommendations to meet their needs.
• Demonstrated prioritization/time management skills.
• Self‑motivation.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Reliable means of transportation.

• Stays current with industry and market information that may reveal sales opportunities.
• Analytical thinking.

Bachelor’s degree preferred or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
