Position Overview:

This role involves operating a company step van to deliver products and services to clients, managing routes, handling customer interactions, and supporting sales growth.

• Safely operate a company step van in designated area to provide products and services to a variety of clients.
• Verify daily preventative maintenance of vehicle and maintain proper operator documentation.
• Manage daily route independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product.
• Load and unload product per company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Review invoices daily for complete and accurate information and make corrections as needed.
• Meet sales goals and promote overall route growth to enhance profitability.
• Develop leads and prospects; call prospective customers to solicit business, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts.
• Assist the sales organization with the procurement of additional new business.
• Communicate services, policies, and pricing clearly to customers.
• Monitor customer feedback and handle customer issues promptly and courteously.
• Take responsibility for personal safety and ensure safety of others by using safe precautions, proper tools, and equipment, and adhering to all safe work practices and policies.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned that are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above.

• Minimum age 21 years, valid driver’s license, and excellent driving record.
• Customer service experience with consistent customer contact.
• Strong math and basic computer skills.
• Demonstrated experience selling services/products and generating new business (preferred).
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and think quickly to identify/solve customer concerns.

• Exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions, including extreme hot/cold temperatures.
• Fast‑paced environment that may require irregular and long hours.
• Physical requirements:
  
  routinely lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 lbs. and load/unload product from truck without assistance; occasionally lift 50+ lbs. Must be able to bend, squat, climb, and reach.
