Job DescriptionOur Advanced Gas Operations (AGO) division provides dedicated service to our gas customers. We are looking for individuals to join the AGO team who consider themselves problem solvers, take pride in public safety, and thrive in a fast‑paced, exciting work environment. Your work will involve independent field operations using a company‑provided vehicle and best‑in‑class ticket and claims management systems to ensure clear and complete mark‑out services.
Responsibilities- Use locating equipment to determine the location of gas lines in a designated area and mark the area with paint and flags to prevent damage to utility infrastructure.
- Develop knowledge and understanding of underground utility infrastructure.
- Follow all company, client, state, and federal damage prevention guidelines.
- As a technician in the Advanced Gas Operations division, you may locate other utilities in addition to gas lines, depending upon the project to which you are assigned.

- Available to work overtime, weekends, and on‑call shifts as needed.
- Ability to travel locally during the business day; some out‑of‑area or overnight travel may be expected.
- Able to pass a drug screen (safety‑sensitive position).
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time on varying terrains; bend, stoop, and lift heavy items up to 75 lbs.
- Able to distinguish between colors used to identify wiring and mark utilities.
- Computer proficiency.
- Able to read, understand, and reference locate tickets, maps, and prints; basic math skills for distance calculations.
- Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners. Customer service experience is a plus.
