*** 2 DAY SHIFT AND 2 NIGHT SHIFT POSITIONS***

Candidates will report to 4100 Smith Rd Site in ATX until October-ish when Round Rock facility is complete.

The Data Center Operations (DCO) Systems Technician I will work as a team player to provide support of all maintenance, operations, and expansion efforts, including critical infrastructure of power, cooling systems, communications, and facilities. Also, completing preventative maintenance as planned by Systems Management.

• Responsible for and maintain 100% critical systems uptime
• Train towards becoming a First Responder to critical infrastructure alarms
• Accurate and timely completion of work orders
• Handle different tool and equipment with precision
• Adhere to Switch Safety Policies and Procedures
• Work with vendors and contractors to ensure their work meets Switch standards
• Assist in inspecting buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions
• Perform assigned collateral duties and tasks assigned by management staff
• Attend assigned meetings and training. Maintain professional appearance

• Some knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Knowledge of data center, safety, electrical, and cooling designs
• Must follow established safety practices and procedures in applicable situations
• Ability to work any shift in a 24x7x365 Operation, including weekends and holidays
• Must have good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Must possess basic typing, email, and computer skills

Entry Level

The pay range for this position is $59000.00 - $59000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Round Rock,TX.
