Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available servicing students from preschool through 12th grade, providing critical support across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This contract position is based in Round Rock, TX, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the current school year. Part-time and full-time candidates are encouraged to apply, as this role offers flexibility to meet diverse scheduling needs.
Responsibilities include:
* Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students across all K-12 grades.
* Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
* Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
* Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with professional standards and school policies.
* Participating in team meetings, IEP development, and other educational planning activities.
Desired qualifications:
* Valid state certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
* Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally within school settings spanning preschool to high school.
* Ability to manage a diverse caseload including students in early childhood through late adolescence.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and educational teams.
* Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in practice.
