Abatix is looking for a service‑mindful Local Delivery Driver to join our team at our brand‑new branch in Round Rock, TX! The ideal candidate brings a professional, positive attitude and holds at least a Class B CDL license.

As an Abatix Delivery Driver, you’ll be the face of our company on the road, making local deliveries to customers across Austin and the surrounding areas. When not on deliveries, you’ll support daily warehouse operations—shipping, receiving, loading, and general upkeep—to help ensure our new branch runs smoothly from day one.

• Make deliveries throughout the Austin area
• Obey traffic laws and follow established transportation procedures
• Inspect and maintain vehicle equipment and supplies—gas, oil, water, tires, lights, brakes—to ensure vehicles are in proper working condition
• Report any mechanical problems encountered with a vehicle
• Load and unload vehicle
• Verify the contents of orders against shipping papers
• Assist in warehouse facilities
• Count stock items and record data into the computer system
• Assist customers with loading merchandise

• Customer service mindset—with willingness to work with customers and go above and beyond to meet their needs
• Valid CDL Class B license or higher
• At least 2 years of driving experience
• Ability to use Fed Ex and UPS online systems
• Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism
• Willingness to be a team player and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
• Dependability, motivation, punctuality and organizational skills
• Ability to complete certifications for forklifts
• Ability to lift 60 lbs and kneel, bend and twist as needed in the warehouse
• Experience with a stand‑up forklift is a plus
