Delivery Driver​/Warehouse Associate

Abatix is looking for a service-minded Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our team!

As an Abatix Delivery Driver, you’ll be the face of our company on the road, making deliveries throughout Austin and surrounding areas in our company box truck. You’ll provide friendly, reliable service to customers while ensuring products arrive safely and on time. When you’re not on the road, you’ll support our warehouse team with tasks like pulling inventory, receiving shipments, and helping customers load merchandise.

• Make deliveries in Austin and surrounding areas in a box truck
• Load and unload vehicle
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
• Receive and pick orders for customers
• Verify the contents of orders against shipping papers
• Safely operate a forklift
• Count stock items and record data into computer system
• Assist customers with loading merchandise

• 2 years of driving experience
• A valid drivers license
• Ability to complete a DOT certification
• Ability to lift 60 lbs and kneel, bend and twist as the warehouse may require
• Ability to use Fed Ex and UPS online systems
• A customer service mindset! You must be willing to work with customers and go above and beyond to meet their needs
• A strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
• Willingness to be a team player and work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependability, motivation, punctuality and organizational skills
• Experience with a stand-up forklift is a plus!
