* Secures equipment by checking availability of equipment with shop (performs research to determine when unavailable equipment will become available);
* Provides adequate notice to Rental and Branch Manager for upcoming equipment requirements;
* Resolves customer complaints if necessary regarding transportation of equipment to or from customers location
* Supports sales and marketing efforts by forwarding equipment inquiries to the sales group, and acting as a liaison in respect to product promotions and rental programs
* Records and maintains lost rent logs
* Reviews reports and provides regular feedback
* Follows Standard Operating Procedures
* Trains other employees as needed
* May be responsible for other tasks, including assisting with stocking and maintaining shop displays, merchandise, loading and unloading equipment, dispatching, timekeeping, and/or performing basic maintenance to equipment
* Represents the Company at factory, industry and company events, including meetings and training
* Follows all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adheres to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook
* Performs all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner## Qualifications
* High School Diploma, GED or vocational training/certification
* Current unexpired and unrestricted Drivers license
* CDL or ability to obtain one
* Equipment rental industry experience preferred
* Strong telephone and customer service skills
* Some Night / Weekend work may be required
* Ability to use good judgement, think quickly and solve problems
* Experience with Microsoft Office suite
* Experience with business systems a plus
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a can-do attitude
* Equipment knowledge or previous industry experience a plus
* Personal appearance must be neat and clean and communication and behavior must be professional and respectful at all times
* Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear
* Background check and pre-employment drug testing required
* Certain positions require a valid driver's license and ability to meet requirements of the Company Driver Policy; the Company will review motor vehicle records annually for all employees for whom driving a motor vehicle is an essential job function or when employees must obtain and drive rental vehicles during the course of conducting company business
