Position: Civil Engineer for Mining Projects
Join Agnico Eagle as a Civil Engineer and manage essential mining-related infrastructure projects. This hybrid role encompasses design, cost estimation, and procurement phases.

Reporting to the Superintendent of Technical Services, you will lead the study phase of infrastructure projects. Your expertise will be key in developing preliminary designs, cost analyses, and technical studies for mining infrastructure like tailings storage and access roads. Collaboration and field monitoring will drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead study phases for mining infrastructure projects

• Prepare and analyze technical feasibility studies

• Design and size mining-related technical components

• Develop plans for construction bidding requirements

• Monitor project progress and prepare status reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering

• At least 5 years' experience in geotechnical projects

• Experience in the mining sector is crucial

• Competence in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software

• Proficient in both French and English
