Senior Guidewire Developer

Position: Senior Guidewire Developer Anywhere
Take the lead in developing complex applications with robust Guidewire Claim Center at a top Canadian firm. This senior role offers an initial 6-month contract, with potential for extension, and hybrid work options.

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Guidewire development, especially within Guidewire Claim Center. You’ll be instrumental in designing and implementing business applications in a cloud environment, using Agile methodologies to guide project execution. Collaboration with stakeholders will be key to ensure solutions meet enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of application features

• Collaborate with analysts for technical design alignment

• Manage the SDLC from user story to delivery

• Conduct peer reviews and coach junior developers

• Enhance testing frameworks through automated tests

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in Guidewire application development

• Proficiency in Guidewire Cloud preferred

• Strong skills in GOSU, web services, databases

• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, and Jira is a plus

• Soft skills in teamwork and problem-solving essential
