Schedule:

4x10s (7:00am–5:30pm), AM shift, call required (8-10 days/assignment)

Required:

ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), RCIS or ARRT (R), TX MRT license
- Minimum 4 years Cath Lab experience required
- Must be proficient with IABP and IMPELLA devices
- No neuro or structural heart cases
- Responsible for surgically scrubbing in and assisting with cardiovascular procedures
- Assists Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures as needed
- Prepares procedure rooms, maintains sterile fields, and ensures all equipment is safe and adequately stocked
- Transports, monitors, and orients patients before and after procedures
- Monitors and documents patient ECG and vital signs, alerts physicians to variances, and responds to emergencies (e.g., CPR, defibrillation)
- Records and enters catheterization data, calculates gradients, LV grams, cardiac outputs, and peripheral stenosis
- Follows national and state radiation safety protocols
- Communicates relevant medical information to physicians and staff, maintains necessary documentation
- Requires strong problem-solving, multitasking, and teamwork skills
- Demonstrates knowledge of invasive cardiac and vascular procedures, instrumentation, and cardiovascular anatomy/physiology
- Scrub attire provided

Med Ninjas Job . Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
