Long‑Term Incentive Plan (LTIP)The Clinic RN role may be eligible to participate in the LTIP—an incentive program designed to attract, retain, and reward top talent. LTIP awards vest over a‑year period, are tied to performance and company success, and are discretionary based on position, performance, and potential.
Position Responsibilities- Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices.
- Assess health status by interviewing patients regarding current status and medical history.
- Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and other instructional material.
- Provide psychosocial support to patients and families.
- Facilitate clinical operations and patient care.
- Manage patient medication refill requests from the pharmacy and record the information in the patient chart.
- Facilitate and schedule consultations, pre‑testing, diagnostic tests or procedures, referrals and future appointments for patients.
- Triage patient phone calls as needed and document relevant information in the patient chart.
- Facilitate communication between patient/family and interdisciplinary team and coordinate related services.
- Assist patients in locating available community resources.
- Participate in interprofessional collaboration.
- Act as a resource to LPN/LVNs and medical assistants.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- Willing to consider entry, mid, or senior level candidates.
- Current RN state license in the practicing state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
The role is performed in an oncology/hematology clinic environment with potential exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, and medical preparations. Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Physical RequirementsRequires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, standing and walking for extensive periods, occasionally lifting up to 40 lb, and normal vision and hearing.
