Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer / Sr Principal Systems Engineer. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.
What You’ll Get To Do- Support System Integration & Test plans, procedures, and reports development engineer
- Synthesizes contractual needs and requirements into element test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints
- Develops and facilitates preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and reports for ICBM support systems
- Reviews, evaluates, and integrates verification requirements models in the Cameo MBSE tool to ensure completeness of element test plans
- Performs technical analysis of designs and prepares comprehensive evaluations of testability
This requisition may be filled at either the Principal Systems Engineer level (T-03) or Sr. Principal Systems Engineer level (T-04).
Principal Systems Engineer- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience with Bachelor's degree, 3 years of experience with Master's degree, 1 year with a PhD
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 8 Years of related experience; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD
- Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
- 2 years of experience in Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) Tools (Cameo, Magic Draw, Rhapsody or similar)
- Active Top-Secret Clearance
- Experience with MBSE tools, including DOORS, Cameo, and Jazz
- Experience with validation and verification planning for hardware designs
- Experience decomposing verification requirements from design requirements
- Experience with DoD support systems, logistics, or maintenance
